Peptides are short chains of amino acids – the skin reads them as a signal to produce more collagen and elastin, proteins responsible for strength and elasticity. 7 types of collagen fills the skin surface and 7 types of hyaluronic acid hydrates in multiple layers. Niacinamide brightens and helps with dark circles, squalane softens and protects the barrier, panthenol and allantoin they calm down.
